Hi, welcome to my practice. I support individuals, couples, and families through the complexities of life transitions. I have over 30 years of experience as a licensed therapist and more than three decades leading personal growth workshops
You're smart, self-aware, and honestly pretty good at explaining exactly why you're stuck. You just can't seem to get unstuck. The to-do list exists. The plan sort of exists. And yet — the avoidance, the overthinking, the decision that keeps not getting made. Sound familiar? Anxiety, perfectionism, and big life transitions have a way of quietly running the show. Therapy isn't about fixing what's wrong with you — because nothing is. It's about understanding what's underneath, building some actual tools, and figuring out what you want. Not what everyone else thinks you should.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in navigating life's challenges and fostering emotional well-being. I believe therapy is a journey, one in which the client is the navigating driver. As a Licensed marriage and family therapist, I take the passenger seat and support my clients in the direction they chose to go with in their therapeutic journey. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my clients, drawing on empathy, respect, and transparency to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
Hi there, my name's Nadeem. I also welcome people to speak about issues of race, class, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, ability, and spirituality in therapy.
If you were curious about my professional background, I am a licensed clinical psychologist with well over a decade of post-graduate experience. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a Mental Health Specialist at McLean Hospital and as a Research Assistant at the Harvard Study of Adult Development. I then completed my Masters in Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the PAU-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium.
Professionally, I’ve worked as a Staff Psychologist and Training Director at Santa Clara University’s Counseling and Psychological Services and later as a faculty member at San Jose State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
I'm Lina, and I'm passionate about empowering individuals on their journey to healing and growth.
