Does he world feel like it has gotten a little overwhelming, or even a little nutty? You don't have to navigate it alone, therapy can be a place to slow things down, talk it through and. build practical skills to help you navigate with more clarity and confidence.
I’m Valerie, a therapist based in Denver, CO. I work with children (ages 4+), teens, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration. I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2023 and have experience in both agency and private practice settings.
I also live with ADHD myself, which means I don’t just talk theory—I understand firsthand the challenges of focus, overwhelm, and motivation. Clients tell me that makes me feel more real and relatable, and I feel that is an important part of the therapeutic alliance.
Do you feel broken, lost or alone? Maybe you’re the one showing up for everyone, or maybe you're constantly on edge, waiting for the next thing to go wrong. It might seem like you’re managing just fine on the outside—but inside, it’s exhausting.
It doesn't have to be this way.
As a former middle school counselor, I love serving youth ages 12-18 navigate issues related to relationships and identity, as well as anxiety and depression. After serving in corporate America for nearly 20 years, I also have experience supporting individuals through various life transitions, stress management, trauma and PTSD.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 14 years of experience providing individual and couples therapy. I hold a Master’s degree in Community Counseling and am trained in trauma-informed care, EMDR, attachment-based approaches, and parts work. I also use the Enneagram as a framework for deepening self-awareness and understanding relationship patterns. My work has a holistic focus that blends mind–body integration with evidence-based counseling methods to support emotional and relational well-being.
I am a bilingual therapist offering therapy in Japanese and English for individuals and couples. I specialize in trauma and relationship-focused work, using a somatic approach to help clients feel more grounded, connected, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I bring a multicultural lens to my work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or relationship challenges. I offer a supportive space to slow down, make sense of these experiences, and find greater clarity and connection. I am currently accepting new clients.
My name is Glen Alan Ensinger. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I lived in Colorado for over one year and was licensed last March. I have been licensed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois since 2002. I have provided crisis counseling and domestic violence counseling for perpetrators and victims. I completed my master's degree at Western Illinois University which included a practicum and internship at White Oaks in Peoria, Illinois. This is a substance abuse program. I have worked at a school for children with behavioral problems and also have provided counseling and crisis services at a community mental health center. For approximately 10 years I was on clinical staff for the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois where I provided counseling services for clients in the HIV program. I worked over 8 years at the 9th Judicial Court in Illinois as a court services therapist. I have a private practice that includes working for programs that helped children either get adopted or return home from the foster care program (or help parents get the children returned to them). My primary work has been with families, couples and children. I use dialectical behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and general Rogerian therapy to help people live more successful lives.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that mental health is vital to creating a balanced life. I understand that change is difficult, and it is not easy to ask for help! I enjoy working with people aged 18 and over with a variety of challenges. I have specialized experience in depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, personality disorders, substance use and addictions.
Life is full of ups and downs, and I have learned from both personal and professional experience that 'suffering in silence' is not really sustainable or healthy for anyone. You deserve to feel heard and to function at your best level. I have 6 years' experience post-graduation from the University of Texas with helping folks do just that. From nonprofits, to medical clinics, to correctional facilities, to teletherapy, I have connected deeply and partnered with many clients and families to trudge through some of their darkest hours and find more validation, calmness, and acceptance. My fluency in Spanish has given me opportunities to break down walls and connect with hundreds of clients whose cultural background is different than mine. I would be honored to have the chance to see if working together is a good fit for your healing journey.
There comes a time in everyone's life when we need support.
