I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Lifespan Development and a minor in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University, and went on to complete my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Florida.
My background includes working with children, teens, and families in both educational and therapeutic settings, as well as most recently supporting individuals and groups in addiction and recovery programs. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through Florida Atlantic University and integrate evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and strengths-based strategies. My clinical interests include supporting clients through persistent depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and identity exploration. I also welcome partners and families into therapy, believing that healing and growth often take shape within our most important relationships.
Marni Wonderley has over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and their families. Marni started her career as an educator including being an intermediate teacher and school counselor. Marni has been in private practice for 5+ years.
I use a four- fold approach to treating beyond traditional psychotherapy to help you on your journey. I have PhD in Clinical psychology, two master's degree (one in community counseling, one in community psychology). I also have a degree in Addictions and one in business management. Having worked every level of care from an inpatient hospital setting, residential long-term care, in a jail, a prison, out-patient levels for intensive three times per week to one time per week and taught in two universities. I am working my favorite level of care on an out-patient setting. Training has been in addictions, mental health, couples and family systems. I have other specialties with chronic pain and nutrition/bariatrics and obesity and available to provide medical and court evaluations with limited testing. I see children from 12 and up and adults/geriatrics.
I support individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, and life management. I believe every emotion carries a message, and through exploration, we uncover deeper meaning. My mission is to guide and empower you to restore your sense of self, align with your values, and find emotional freedom. Life’s pressures often lead to masking our true selves, causing unfulfilling choices. I aim to help you overcome these challenges and reconnect with your authentic self.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas (and LMHC in Florida) and an Air Force veteran with experience in deployments. I help individuals and families in depression, anxiety, life changes, trauma (PTSD), anger management, parenting, and relationship challenges. I also have worked extensively with LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.
Welcome! What you should know about me is that I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I knew I was meant to work in the mental health field when my family would call me “the psychologist” during my teenage years. Since then, I have pursued my goal of helping others figure out how to live their best life in the midst of life’s adversities. I am ready to help you as you find your path toward love, joy, and centeredness.
Hi there! I am licensed in both New Mexico (LPCC) and Florida (LMHC) seeing clients remotely. I primarily see college students or adult women presenting with trauma, relationship issues, boundary issues, and anxiety disorders. I love working with individual clients and creating a safe space. I believe the therapeutic relationship and therapeutic fit is foundational to successful therapy.
My therapy style is centered on warmth, empathy, and inclusivity. Drawing from my extensive experience working with diverse populations, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. Everyone brings unique experiences, and my goal is to ensure that our work together honors your cultural, spiritual, and personal life story.
