I have over two decades of Social Work experience. I have worked in high school settings for over 20 years with a variety of students to include: LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, ADHD, and teen parenting. Prior to working in the school setting, I worked with homeless families as well as domestic violence victims.
With over 15 years of experience, I have worked with children, adults, and families in diverse roles (counseling, education, disability services, healthcare, and social services). These experiences have equipped me with versatility and empathy towards the various challenges faced by individuals (spouses, parents, caregivers & employees). Currently, my focus is on clients ages 18 - geriatric who are dealing with anxiety/depression stemming from stress, life transitions, relationships, and trauma.
I am a psychiatric provider who specializes in working with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, and I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel genuinely seen and heard. My clinical background includes formal training in evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, and I have experience supporting clients from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. I strive to bring both professional expertise and a warm, grounded presence to every session so that you feel comfortable sharing what’s really going on in your life.
Sometimes it feels like your emotions take over. A comment, a look, or a moment—and suddenly you’re overwhelmed, overreacting, shutting down, or saying things you later wish you hadn’t.
You’re not just struggling with anxiety. You’re struggling with how it shows up in your relationships.
You want to feel calm, grounded, and able to express yourself without fear, guilt, or defensiveness. You want relationships that feel safe, connected, and real—starting with the one you have with yourself.
I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in emotional and relational patterns they can’t seem to break. This often looks like repeated arguments, emotional disconnection, overthinking, or feeling responsible for everything in the relationship.
My approach is focused on emotional regulation and relationship patterns. Together, we’ll understand what’s driving your reactions, shift the cycles that keep you stuck, and build new ways of responding—with more clarity, stability, and intention.
You’ll learn how to:
I am a bilingual therapist, fluent in English and Spanish, and I provide a culturally sensitive and emotionally attuned approach to therapy.
Healing is a process of reconnecting with your inner wisdom, resilience, and sense of self. As an EMDR therapist, I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem through a holistic approach that honors the mind, body, and spirit. I identify as spiritual but not religious, and this perspective meaningfully informs my work. I hold space for intuition, personal meaning, and the deeper, less tangible aspects of healing that often go beyond words. EMDR therapy helps resolve root causes of distress, supporting nervous system regulation and relief from long-held emotional burdens. Reiki, energy perspectives, and symbolic frameworks (like tarot and archetypes) shape how I understand patterns and inner guidance but are not a substitute for psychotherapy.
I work with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, and self-doubt. On the outside, you may appear put together, but internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of yourself. Often, these patterns are connected to earlier experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and relate to others.
I believe meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen and understood. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and explore what’s happening in your life without judgment.
My background includes mental health counseling and community-based work, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and recognize how personal experiences shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others.
I’m especially passionate about helping you understand the patterns and beliefs that influence your life. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you,it’s about gaining clarity, building insight, and developing tools to help you feel more confident, balanced, and grounded.
