My journey toward becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor was significantly influenced by my graduate program at Rollins College, as well as by my undergraduate years at the University of Florida. Working with emerging adults, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community, affords me the opportunity to channel my life experiences into empathy for my clients. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I recognize that mental health and well-being are informed by having the confidence and courage to live as one's authentic self. I strive to help my clients do this within the framework of the identities they hold and experiences they've had.
I am trained in the research-based Gottman Method for couples counseling, Level 1 and 2. I'm also EMDR certified for trauma resolution counseling. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in good standing in NJ and FL. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. My personal experiences ignited in me a desire to grow and to help others feel empowered, supported, and hopeful. My professional experiences have fueled my passion to heal and help people achieve the life they desire. I love working with couples and helping partners rebuild connection and trust. Please note that most insurance plans do not cover couples therapy, as it is not considered a medically necessary service. For this reason, couples sessions are offered on a private-pay basis.
My name is Toni Gayle, and I am a Qualified and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a background that bridges clinical care, education, and holistic wellness. I hold a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida and have worked across correctional settings, public schools, and nonprofit organizations — giving me a uniquely broad perspective on the human experience.
I am also the founder of The Real Tonic Wellness Brand, where I blend mental health principles with practical, whole-person wellness strategies. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or simply trying to grow into a better version of yourself, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every session. My work has always centered women, families, and communities — and that heart has never changed.
I am writing to express my interest in an advanced practice provider opportunity with Headway. With
experience as an APRN, RN, and physician, and recent completion of my PMHNP training, I bring a
strong clinical background and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Are you navigating grief, chronic illness or a rare disease, or a major life transition? Maybe you grew up in a family impacted by addiction, conflict, or instability, and want to explore how those experiences are showing up in your life today. These experiences can shape your boundaries, self-worth, and sense of responsibility for others—often influencing relationships, personal growth, and even physical health. In therapy, we’ll explore how your past and present connect, process what you’ve been carrying, and begin to shift patterns that no longer serve you—so you can move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
Many people I work with have experienced trauma— relational trauma or ongoing exposure to unsafe or oppressive environments—and notice its impact in their body, emotions, or sense of self.
Hello There!
My name is Magdala ( Maggie), and as a licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in supporting children, adolescent, and young adults. I focus on emotional regulation, anxiety, stress management, depression, self-esteem, social skills, and disruptive behavior disorders.
I support client's individual needs by providing a safe, compassionate, judgement free space where you can feel acknowledged, listened to with attention, empathy, and respect.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including their families in various settings.
On a personal note, I believe that self-care is essential for enjoying a comfortable, stress-free life. For me, that includes listening to music, spending time with family and friends, enjoying my favorite movies or tv shows, nature walks and traveling.
My goal is to help you achieve long-term well-being so that life can be more enjoyable.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my main focus is helping minors and adults address problematic sexual behaviors, men’s issues, and the unique experiences of those who identify as LGBTQ+.
I also work with couples who are navigating the challenges of polyamory and exploring healthy relationship dynamics.
I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore challenges related to substance use, codependency, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
