Hi - I am so glad you are here. I am Karr, a Licensed Professional Counselor and wounded healer with a burning passion to support the healing journey of others. I specialize working with the queer community and those who feel stuck in their survival mode after surviving traumatic experiences. I have training and experiencing navigating trauma, gender affirming care, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy.
I am an avid reader and obsessed with all things fantasy. At my core, I am a lifetime learner and dedicated challenger. I enjoy exploring the way systems operate, how they impact us today, and ways we can resist and challenge as a collective. When I am not working with clients, you can find me with my head in my kindle, spending far too many hours playing video games, or in some other hobby I am currently hyper-fixated on only to forget about a month later!
Are you an athlete or high-performer struggling with feelings of inadequacy? Do you battle anxiety or struggle with body image? Are you simply looking for happiness? I'm Michelle Solino, LPC, a licensed professional counselor in NJ, and CT specializing in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, disordered eating, and sports counseling.
Whether you're dealing with performance anxiety, body image issues, or life's complexities, I'm here to help you achieve well-being and personal growth.

I genuinely enjoy my work as a psychologist, and feel honored and privileged to be able to help people on their journey toward health, happiness and well-being. I strive to being a good listener, compassionate, respectful and nonjudgmental. I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with 23 years experience in private practice during which I saw a great diversity of clientele, each owning a variety of mental health issues. I have specialties in substance use issues, mood and anxiety disorders, sport psychology, as well as grief and life transitions. I work with teens and adults of all ages, and I have a special place in my heart for folks who have served our country in the military and for senior citizens.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults in New Jersey. My work is grounded in patience, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s story. I believe therapy is most meaningful when people are given the space to speak openly and to feel genuinely heard.
