I'm Jackie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) and Certified Addiction Counselor with 20 years of experience across community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings — including Maimonides Medical Center and NYU Langone. I earned my MSW from NYU Silver School of Social Work and have supervised post-graduate clinicians working toward licensure.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, and the lasting effects of growing up in emotionally unpredictable or inconsistent homes. If you spent your childhood managing everyone else's feelings while your own got put on the back burner — this is a space built for you.
I started my private practice because I wanted to offer something less clinical and more human. Therapy with me is warm, direct, and skills-focused. I'll challenge you when it's useful, support you when it's needed, and yes — there will probably be a book recommendation somewhere along the way.
Outside the therapy room I'm a real person too, which is probably why clients tell me I'm easy to talk to and occasionally make them laugh when they least expect it.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing trauma-informed, patient-centered care in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, ADHD. My approach is both compassionate and collaborative—I take the time to truly listen, understand your unique experiences, and tailor treatment to meet your personal goals and needs.
I offer medication management and therapeutic support, with a strong emphasis on dignity, respect, and trust. My goal is to walk alongside you—whether you are taking your first step toward healing or continuing your journey toward long-term mental wellness.
You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported. I am here to help you reclaim your peace, purpose, and strength—one step at a time.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marist College. My clinical background includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, and the stressors that come with major life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood, not analyzed or rushed. I bring a calm, compassionate presence to sessions and value creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are — even if you’re not sure how to put things into words yet.
I work well with clients who are thoughtful, self-aware, and may feel like they’re “functioning” on the outside but carrying anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional heaviness internally. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, or long-standing patterns that no longer feel sustainable.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your emotional capacity, and move toward meaningful, lasting change — at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
My style is thoughtful, reflective, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you feel understood and supported, while also being gently challenged when it’s helpful. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, but about increasing awareness, strengthening emotional capacity, and helping you move forward in a way that feels aligned and sustainable.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT, and Narrative Therapy, allowing us to both understand current patterns and reshape the way you relate to your experiences and personal story.
I am a NYU-trained Filipino-American therapist with a background in medicine and technology. I am experienced in working with high-achieving professionals, BIPOC, AAPI, immigrants, and healthcare workers.
