My goal as a therapist is to help guide you toward authenticity while re-establishing interpersonal connections with those around you. Whether you’re looking to gain skills, problem-solving for everyday stress, or are experiencing major life events, we can explore and work toward your personal goals collaboratively. I have a specialty in working with individuals who don’t have a good relationship with food and are seeking to repair their body image, self-esteem, and comfortability with food.
Hello, my name is Cassie. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, New York, and California. I studied Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at New York University (NYU).
I specialize in working with young adults in their 20s and 30s who feel stuck, stalled, or sometimes trapped in how the major parts of adulthood are going—relationships, career, purpose, and finding meaning. Clients who reach out to me often ask themselves, “How did I get here? This doesn’t feel like me?”
This experience is often described as languishing—a sense of being emotionally flat, unfulfilled, or disconnected from the life you thought you’d be living.
They may feel a lack of meaning, a sense of purpose, and creativity, and ask themselves, “Shouldn’t I feel happier? I worked so hard to get here.” They know this isn’t the adulthood they want, but don’t know how to create the life they truly want.
You might feel caught between who you are, who you thought you were supposed to become, and the adult story you want to be living. Many of my clients feel like they are going through the motions and want more meaning, creativity, and passion in their lives, but don’t know how to get there or create the life they want.
You don’t have to stay stuck here. We can begin to make sense of where you are and create a life that feels more like your own.
