A little about me: I love going to CrossFit every morning. I am a huge nerd, constantly listening to audibles and/or podcasts such as Huberman Lab and non-fiction books. I enjoy being outdoors: snowboarding, motorcycle/dirt biking, hiking, any movement &traveling. My parents are from Peru, so I visit there often. Tambien hablo español! I worked in Hollywood for 15 years and now specialize in helping actors, writers, directors, and musicians with trauma, recovery, relationships, and identity exploration. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. I studied Infant, Early Childhood, and Parent Psychotherapy at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. I'm also a Certified First Responder Counselor.
Dr. Bacher is a holistic, trauma-informed psychologist with over 15 years experience working at many of the top residential treatment centers in the U.S. and Europe. He specializes in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, and addiction. Dr. Bacher completed his undergraduate work in Psychology at Georgetown University, and his Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. His dissertation research focused on Positive Psychology--specifically meaning making--and how to cultivate positive strengths in individuals.
