Hi! My name is Estefanie Ceballo. I have been a therapist for over ten years and love what I do. My approach to counseling is to be warm, welcoming, and inviting. I love counseling because it allows me to travel with clients on their journey and listen to their experiences. My goal is to help clients grow, by being present in the moment with them and proving empathic listening.
I have been a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2012 and have worked in various settings such as outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital, emergency room and private practice.
To listen to another person's story and be a part of the process of their progress is my mission. I have always been curious about human interactions and the story that someone tells. As a psychotherapist, I see that working with the human psyche in the Western world can present challenges. A place where "wellness" is fostered with approaches that seek to eliminate undesired behaviors and thought patterns. Instead I work in a way that welcomes all aspects of you and and your personality. Everyone has the right to feel emotionally healthy and live stress free. I believe this begins with giving yourself permission to address those emotions/behaviors that are disrupting your life. For some of my patients their treatment includes resolving issues from their past and moving forward. My style with patients is always collaborative, interactive and motivating. I use empathic and deep listening to HEAR my patients.

In addition to these experiences, Sarah has experience providing family therapy, as well as facilitating support groups for caregivers.
