Hello! My name is Dee, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University and a specialized Mental Health certification from Lamar University. I have over seven years of experience Couseling in school settings with students who have special needs, as well as over two years in private practice supporting individuals and families.
In my practice, I work with clients experiencing adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, and family challenges. I strive to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I have a passion for helping others to help
themselves. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker. I'm bilingual. Fluent in both
English and Spanish. I have experience
working with children and adolescents in
mental health as well as adults and
geriatrics. I also have experience working
with individuals with intellectual and
developmental disabilities. I have worked
at inpatient and outpatient settings.
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years experience working as a therapist, life coach and pastoral counselor. I have worked with clients having a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, parenting and family problems, career challenges, trauma, abuse and disabilities that include psychiatric and physical health issues. My therapy style is warm and interactive.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas with nearly 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology (1995–1997) at Mississippi College, graduating with Special Distinction. My experience includes work within psychiatric hospitals, the prison system, and specialized Christian‐based care through my internship at Charter Hospital in North Jackson, Mississippi where I served within the Rapha division. After relocating to Texas in 2001, I transitioned into managed care, where I spent almost 25 years conducting clinical reviews with psychiatric and substance abuse facilities nationwide, supporting treatment teams, and maintaining direct patient contact.
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach, seeing you as the expert of your own life. My role is to foster curiosity and self-discovery so you feel empowered to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. I strive to provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space for our work together.
I hold a master’s degree in family therapy and believe that understanding your early experiences can lead to greater self-awareness and self-compassion. I am licensed in Texas and bring a broad, culturally informed perspective shaped by living in multiple countries.
I specialize in working with high-functioning women and couples, helping clients develop practical tools and insights that support lasting growth.
Hi, there! My name is Dr. Justin Lockhart, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I believe deeply in people’s capacity to grow and change, even when life feels overwhelming. If you’re struggling to manage big feelings, having trouble connecting with the people around you, or just feel like anxiety has you trapped on the business end of a bulldozer, I’m here to help you figure it out.
I work with teens and adults who want to build the tools to overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, mood swings, and relationship problems. Our thoughts, feelings, and experiences are important passengers, but they don’t have to drive the car. Instead, we can learn to find purpose, belonging, and peace even in the toughest of times.
Great to meet you
If you’re struggling with anxiety, overthinking, trauma, or relationship stress, you’re not alone. Many people face these challenges, and support is available to help you feel understood and less isolated.
I work with adults and adolescents who feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Many of my clients deal with high anxiety, racing thoughts, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Still, therapy can help you find hope and a way forward, even if it looks like you have everything together on the outside.
If you’re constantly overanalyzing, feeling on edge, or carrying the weight of past experiences, therapy can help you slow things down and regain control, empowering you to manage your thoughts and feelings more effectively.
