Howdy! my name is Robin Elkins, I am an LPC here in Ft. Worth Tx. Before we get into my resume a few things about myself that might be worth knowing are the following: I am a Christian, father to be, and love my family. The bottom line in therapy and my approach to therapy is that "truth will set you free." Whether that is telling the truth, honestly expressing one's emotions, or behaving in congruence with your beliefs, truth is what I am to help people experience in therapy.
As for my credentials I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Humanistic Sandtray Therapist, EMDR Certified, Trauma Focused CBT trained, TBRI trained, Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and a couple other letters but personally think the above describes me better as a professional than my letters!
Jerred P. White MA, LCDC, LPC. I earned my graduate degree from Amberton University with a major in Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling and Bachelors degree in Science of Business and Human Development. I attended the Institute of Chemical Dependency school and completed over 4000 hours of chemical dependency counseling in residential and outpatient treatment facilities to become a fully licensed LCDC. I have over 10 years of working with families, individuals, adults, and children.
I help clients work through anxiety and trauma in a way that feels human, supportive, and grounded. Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical—I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where healing can actually happen.
My approach is holistic, combining emotional processing with practical tools for everyday life. It’s not just about understanding the past—it’s about building the skills you need to thrive in the present. I tailor my work to each person’s unique needs, especially when supporting trauma survivors, neurodivergent individuals (including those with ADHD or autism), and those managing PTSD, trauma or grief.
I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist with extensive experience working across the behavioral health spectrum. My professional background includes work in youth detention centers, prisons, behavioral health hospitals, group homes, and residential treatment centers (RTCs). These environments shaped my deep respect for resilience and taught me how important safety, trust, and consistency are in the healing process.
