My name is Lois Myers. I am 58-years-old and have recently successfully completed my hours for my license in the state of Texas. I love to help people and my passion is to work with women who have lost children.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. My professional background includes work across all levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, inpatient settings, school counseling, and mobile crisis services. I work with adults and specialize in Christian faith-based counseling, thoughtfully integrating clinical practice with a whole-person approach to emotional, spiritual, and overall wellness. I aim to provide a calm, supportive, and respectful therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow at their own pace
Hi there, I'm Diana!
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions across the lifespan, with a focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. My approach combines evidence-based practices with a compassionate, patient-centered philosophy.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified School Counselor with experience supporting individuals in both clinical and educational settings. I earned my Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Bilingual Education and my Masters of Education in Counseling from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
I work with my clients to empower them to reach their goals and thrive. I enjoy working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, work problems, ADHD, life transitions, boundaries, self esteem, and more. My experience in inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings have shaped my use of diverse styles of therapy.
I have been working in the mental health field for many years and have had the privilege of supporting individuals through many of life’s challenges. Over time, I have seen firsthand the stressors and unexpected difficulties that life can bring. While we cannot always prevent these challenges—because life will continue to be life—we can learn healthier ways to cope, grow, and move forward.
My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, develop practical tools, and gain insight into the patterns that may be affecting your well-being. I am here to offer guidance, encouragement, and support as we work together toward your goals and toward creating a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and manageable.
