I believe in the strength and grit that brought you here—and I trust that the same inner resources that carried you here can help you build the life you truly want. I work with emerging adults and motivated seekers who’ve read the books, followed the advice, and tried to fix it all, yet still feel something is missing. You don’t need another voice telling you what to do—you need someone who can help you hear your own. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.” It’s about uncovering what’s been hidden, reconnecting with your inner resources, and moving forward with clarity and confidence.

Thank you so much for considering me as your next therapist. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 25 years in a variety of settings and with various groups, and have been practicing as an LPC for the past three years.
I feel honored to work with clients who face challenges related to anxiety, depression, major life transitions and trauma. I thoroughly believe that healing can be obtained by anyone and everyone is worthy of discovering a life worth living.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with individuals and families who are navigating complex emotions and life transitions, including experiences of trauma, neurodivergence, and the ways these challenges can impact relationships and parenting. Many people I work with feel overwhelmed or emotionally worn down, often recognizing that past experiences are still shaping how they relate to themselves or others.
I have been honored to work in private practice for over 15 years. Earlier in my career, I worked with families in crisis who were involved in the child welfare and legal systems. This early work continues to inform my understanding of trauma, complex systems, and the realities of parenting under significant stress, and has shaped the steady, grounded approach I bring to therapy.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and a Master of Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. In my practice, I strive to offer a space that feels respectful, attuned, and emotionally safe—where meaningful change can unfold.
Hi I'm Jessica. I'm a mom, a wife, and a counselor who loves Jesus. My passion is helping others reach their quality of life goals.
Currently, I am in Harlingen, Texas providing individual sessions in-person or via video calls. I graduated from UT-Pan American in 2009 with bachelors' degrees and then in 2012 I received a Master's degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. In 2013, I came back home, and began practicing and serving children and families who had experienced trauma.
It is no longer acceptable to suffer in silence. Regardless of your age, your friends, your family and what your peers may say, asking for help takes a lot more courage than suffering in silence. There is no shame in taking control of your life and making the courageous decision to want and expect more joy and peace in your life. I believe in empowering individuals to take inventory and control of their lives. Things can always be better and it is up to you to determine when, where and what that looks like. It is my joy and responsibility to help bring about the ‘how.'
I am passionate about helping adolescents, individuals, couples and families find their inner strengths to bring about the change they want in their lives through a wide variety of evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and others.
The therapeutic process is an amazing journey of personal growth and insight. You are the captain of your ship. The beginning of your new journey can start today.
I work with adults who grew up with emotionally immature or emotionally unavailable parents. Many come in feeling lonely, empty, or misunderstood, often stuck in people‐pleasing, low self‐esteem, anxiety, or depression, and unsure of who they are or how to form lasting emotional connections. I also support clients facing work stress, major life transitions, and grief. Together, we slow things down, build insight, strengthen identity and boundaries, and develop skills for emotional regulation and healthier relationships so clients feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
Healing can begin even in the middle of pain, uncertainty, or major life change. Antoinette grew up in the Caribbean on the island of Grenada before moving to Texas for college, and she brings a deeply compassionate, culturally grounded perspective to her work. She believes every person is worthy of growth, healing, and hope, and that each individual has the capacity to move toward a more meaningful life.
Antoinette holds a doctoral degree in Mental Health and Human Services from Houston Baptist University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. She has worked in the field of education for over 19 years, with the last 10 years focused on mental health counseling for school-aged children, teens, and adults. She also works in an IOP setting, supporting individuals transitioning from inpatient care to outpatient treatment. Antoinette works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, self-harm, emotional distress, mood changes, life transitions, and difficulty coping with overwhelming experiences.
I come from a systems and person-centered background, with a masters degree in Social Work. I am fully credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and use a relational approach to meet my clients where they are at.
