I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor based in Tyler, Texas, and founder of Magnolia Counseling & Supervision, PLLC. With over 15 years of experience in trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, and community mental health, I offer a safe, supportive space for individuals working through life’s most difficult seasons.
My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I meet clients where they are—with respect, honesty, and compassion. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, burnout, or a life transition, I help you move forward with clarity and resilience.
I come from a systems and person-centered background, with a masters degree in Social Work. I am fully credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and use a relational approach to meet my clients where they are at.
Hello! I have experience working with adolescents and adults using a variety of therapy techniques in individual and group therapy sessions. I work with a variety of treatment modules including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, existential therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. I have worked extensively in crisis experience and with clients in crisis partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive out-patient (IOP), and in school settings.
I'm a proud TCU Horned Frog and UT Longhorn, with over 20 years experience as an LCSW working in hospitals, schools, tele-health, and in home settings.
Feel stuck? I can help! I seek to help my clients develop skills, discover new strengths, and gain insight to navigate our sometimes chaotic world. I especially like to work with people experiencing anxiety and related disorders. I spent 30 years in the public school setting, 18 as a certified school counselor at ALL levels (but mostly JHS and HS), where I served diverse populations and needs. Because I've seen a lot, I've got a lot of tools in my toolbox to teach you ways to move forward!
Finding a therapist who truly understands your world can make all the difference. I work with women, especially Black women, who are tired of settling for relationships that don’t meet their needs and are ready to rediscover their worth. I also have over 20 years of experience supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, helping them navigate the unique challenges that can come with communication barriers, isolation, and cultural misunderstandings. Clients describe me as direct, compassionate, and down-to-earth.
Feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed? You don’t have to face it alone. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Registered Play Therapist, helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with care and understanding.
Through play therapy, children find a safe way to express, process, and heal. Teens and adults receive guidance for trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, individualized, and focused on helping you move forward with confidence.
I bring experience from juvenile and community settings—including Webb County Youth Village Detention Center, Webb County Treatment Program, United Independent School District, and PILLAR—where I’ve supported clients and mentored clinicians.
Together, we can create a space where you or your child feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
